We are off and running for the first time in the “actual mountains”. What I thought were mountains, weren’t… interesting… very interesting….
Everything did go very smoothly. The TSA decided this time that I was not a threat and did not need additional screening asking me about every computer / GPS part, cable, cord and the flight went well. We did have a little turbulence coming into Colorado but it was nothing like the last flight.
Making the way to the house was interesting. I was more so watching the elevation than anything. Never being out this far, we were a mile high! And we were going to be two miles high soon enough! We did get a lot of precipitation on the way here, but not that bad.
I found out what altitude sickness is, and I think that I actually handled it pretty well. I know the symptoms, what to do, and what to do if it gets worse. So, tonight I am laying in bed, taking it easy and relaxing. Have a good night!
